The Admissions team at Everspring is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of online students. This team builds high-impact relationships to guide and assist students through the enrollment process. The Online Admissions Advisor I is an exciting role for an energetic, goal-oriented individual passionate about online education and helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with prospective students via phone, chat, SMS, and/or email.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise within your assigned program.
- Aid and guide prospective students through the admissions process to help determine if a program is the right fit.
- Cultivate relationships with potential students while building trust and rapport.
- Exhibit outstanding communication skills, program knowledge, and overall consultative effectiveness to allow prospective students to make meaningful decisions about their education.
- Manage and update student database tool to help track student progress through the admissions process to ensure updated and clean pipeline.
- Track and monitor student movement through the application process and guide them to meet specific deadlines.
- Provide accurate forecasting data to the admissions management.
- Maintain consistent communication with potential students to keep them engaged and aware of their responsibilities during the application process.
- Serve as a vital member of a highly collaborative, team-oriented department.
- Demonstrate mastery of multiple programs and have strong familiarity of key competitor's program information.
- Demonstrate ability to articulate program differentiators and value of Everspring supported programs.
- Provide exemplary service level: timely response to student interest with appropriate and thorough provision of information.
- Mastery of consultative sales approach demonstrated on all observation forms.
- Attain satisfactory scores on student satisfaction surveys.
- Attain satisfactory call observation scores.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- 0 to 2 years of consultative sales, customer service, or recruiting experience in an online environment
- Ability to work non-standard shifts for student support coverage (7-4, 8-5, 9-6, 10-7, 11-8, 12-9)
- Ability to work overtime when business needs require it (3-4 times per year during program deadlines)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Effectively represent partner on recorded webinars
- A passion for education and desire to help students achieve their educational goals
- Demonstrate ability to execute consultative and customer service relationship
- Demonstrate ability to manage time effectively with multiple priorities
- To implement feedback from manager through call coaching sessions then generate positive results
- Strong collaboration with other cross-functional teams
