About the Role

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity in a caring environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Facility Department Directors and ensure all employees perform their jobs appropriately.
• Establish and maintain personnel policies, department policies, and procedures, ensuring staff compliance.
• Follow policies and procedures for compliance with federal, state, and local standards for Nursing Facility operation, and review staff compliance.
• Interview and select competent personnel to supervise/direct activities of all departments.
• Participate in and conduct in-service training for supervisory personnel and staff.
• Prepare an annual budget for the facility and evaluate its financial status monthly.
• Represent the Nursing Facility in outside activities and dealings with agencies, including governmental and third-party payers.

Requirements

• Prefer a four-year degree and a minimum of four years of supervisory experience in a Nursing Facility.
• Hold a valid license to operate as a Nursing Home Administrator.
• Possess sound knowledge of personnel administration and the ability to supervise all employees.
• Have a strong understanding of local, federal, and state regulations, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, nursing and medical practices, and other laws pertaining to Nursing Facility operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to promote public relations.
• Be capable of interpreting financial statements and preparing monthly reports for Long Term Care Management Services.
• Stay updated on changes in the Nursing Home industry.
• Make independent decisions and work well under pressure.
