Administrator in Training AIT
About the role
In this Administrator in Training (AIT) program, you will assist the Administrator with the management of overall operations while ensuring profitability without sacrificing quality care and exceptional service. You will learn the duties of the Administrator and help manage the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure the highest degree of quality care for residents.
Through this program, you will enhance your knowledge of our culture, managerial and problem-solving skills, and professional responsibilities in senior care. Upon selection, you agree to a two-year commitment to work for our company. For newly licensed Administrators or those who successfully obtain their Nursing Home Administrator license, we will assign you to an Administrator position or a project-based role within our regional support team as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred (degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field is preferred)
- Effective communicator and great team builder
- Capable of making mature, professional judgments
- Ability to collect, analyze, and manage data
- Maintains professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others
- Passion for working with the elderly
