About the role

The Administrator, Community Schools and Family Engagement at Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) oversees initiatives aimed at enhancing community-school partnerships and family engagement programs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve communication between families and schools.
  • Facilitate parent-teacher conferences and other community events.
  • Oversee the implementation of family engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to enhance educational opportunities for students.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of family engagement programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in community outreach, family engagement, or school administration.
  • Valid CA Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility for Administrative Services Credential.
  • Valid California driver’s license.
  • First Aid and CPR certification within sixty (60) days of hire.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Fingerprinting through SUSD PD, Tuberculosis clearance.
