About the role

Lead with Purpose. Make a Lasting Impact. Volare Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the daily operations of one of our skilled nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and management of facility operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Direct and oversee all departments, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop operational goals and implement strategies to improve quality outcomes.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with corporate leadership and governing bodies.
  • Ensure residents receive the highest quality of care and services.
  • Review and interpret monthly financial statements.
  • Manage facility budgets and resources effectively.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and address delinquent collections promptly.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to corporate leadership.
  • Oversee workers' compensation documentation and reporting.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for department heads.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture focused on accountability and teamwork.
  • Support employee development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Maintain readiness for state and federal surveys.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring programs.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, resident rights, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Address resident concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for long-term care services.

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the state of employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Completion of an Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program or prior experience as an Administrator or Assistant Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and operations.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel when required.
  • Prior experience leading a skilled nursing facility (preferred).
  • Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment (preferred).
  • BSN or advanced healthcare-related degree (preferred).
