About the role
We are a skilled nursing facility seeking a dynamic Administrator to lead our team and ensure our guests receive exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's programs and activities.
- Affirmatively assist department directors in developing, using, and implementing departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure all personnel handling protected health information receive appropriate training.
- Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for directing facility activities and programs.
- Meet with department directors regularly and participate in in-service classes and training programs.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations including fire protection, smoking, infection control, and other relevant protocols.
- Authorize purchases of major equipment and supplies according to established policies.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is required. A degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: At least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility setting.
- Licenses: Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license or equivalent licensure in the applicable state.
