Essential Duties
Oversees Quality care and analyzes the entire operation of the nursing facility.
Responsible for the overall operational functioning of the facility.
Makes a daily census analysis.
Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the facility's programs and activities in accordance with guidelines issued by the governing board.
Complies and develops reporting on budget projections, revenue and expenses.
Ensures budget conformance.
Develops policies and procedures and holds direct reports accountable.

Ensures all employees, residents and families are treated with the utmost respect.
Involved in community groups and developing/maintaining relationships with local hospital leadership.
Makes changes to industry and company standards based on regulatory updates.
Monitors staffing levels and adheres to industry and company standards.
Directs execution of policy and procedural changes.
Resolves HR issues and Risk Management situations within the facility.
Oversees capital improvements.
Participates in Advisory committees.
Ensures all facility personnel, residents, visitors, etc., follow established safety regulations, including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc.
Develops and maintains a stellar reputation within the industry and community.
Develops and maintains relationships with support teams (HR/Therapy/Clinical/Finance) to assist in meeting/exceeding goals.
Supports Clinical efforts by understanding QA measures and holding people accountable.
Keeps abreast of collections and A/R on a daily basis.
Develops and executes creative ideas to increase employee engagement and minimize turnover.
Understands and reviews Quality Measures on a regular basis.
Assists in providing survey team members with additional information during the survey that may aid in preventing deficiency citations.
Conducts daily meetings with appropriate staff during facility inspections to discuss survey findings and formulate plans of action/correction.
Reviews deficiencies noted during the exit conference.
Provides additional information that may aid in removal of the deficiency or lower the scope and severity level of a cited deficiency.
Aids in developing plans of correction for cited deficiencies.
Ensures such plans incorporate timetables and methods of monitoring to ensure that such deficiencies do not recur.
Qualification
Education And/or Experience:
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent.
- Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
