The house is home to no more than 44 elderly men and women requiring nursing, residential and dementia care. Our home focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care and ensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected. The Role We are seeking an experienced and organised Administrator to be the first point of contact for our home. You will provide a professional, welcoming service to residents, families and visitors while managing a range of administrative and recruitment duties. About You What matters most is your genuine care, a warm welcome for everyone who comes through our door and the organisation to keep the home running smoothly. Our Ideal Candidate Must Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Welcome visitors and manage incoming calls and emails in a professional manner.Oversee administrative tasks, including resident records and correspondence.Support recruitment for the home, including advertising vacancies.Maintain accurate data entry and filing systems.Liaise with residents and families, offering empathetic and effective communication.Support the Home Manager with reports, audits and compliance documentation. Skills & Experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisation and time management abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Previous administrative experience (care sector preferred but not essential).Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
