Duties And Responsibilities

• Support Patient Coordinator team in greeting and welcoming patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Effectively triage patient and customer requests and issues as they arise to appropriate team members and departments.
• Manage visitor sign-in and issue badges.
• Assemble new patient welcome packets.
• Enter data into electronic databases or spreadsheets with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Auxiliary in marketing, communications, and development efforts.
• Assist with tracking and organizing inventory of promotional items.
• Auxiliary in planning and coordinating special events, meetings, or community outreach initiatives.
• Staff NYPC information tables at community events.
• Auxiliary in writing and preparation of grant proposals.
• Perform copying and document organization.

Qualifications

• Dependable and compassionate with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic office computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, data entry).
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with patients, families, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient and company information.
