About the role
This position supports budget analysis and administration office tasks using office automation tools. It requires specialized experience and typing skills.
Responsibilities
- Utilize office automation tools for clerical, administrative, and technical work in support of budget analysis.
- Provide support in areas such as data management, record keeping, and report generation.
- Manage and maintain databases like SLDCADA, FASTDATA, and JPAS.
- Participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Pass E-Verify employment verification check.
- Meet time-in-grade requirements for federal service.
- Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as needed.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience.
- Successfully complete the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- Meet time-in-grade requirements for federal service.
- Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as required.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
Qualifications
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing office automation tools (e.g., computer systems, software, databases such as SLDCADA, FASTDATA, JPAS) to provide clerical, administrative and technical work in support of budget analysis and administration office.
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
- Successfully complete at least one full year of graduate education directly related to the work of the position.
- A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

Pay
- Positions are covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
