About the role
The Administrative Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and office support to ensure efficient daily operations of the agency’s Administrative Office. This position serves as the primary point of contact for visitors, staff, and community partners by providing exceptional customer service. The role involves a variety of administrative functions, including answering phones, processing mail, performing daily data entry, scheduling meetings, and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
- Two years’ related experience (preferred)
- Previous experience providing administrative office support
- Previous data entry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass a physical examination, comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen (including negative results for Amphetamines, Cannabinoids (including Marijuana/THC), Cocaine, Opiates, and Phencyclidine (PCP))
Marijuana is not legal at the federal level and is prohibited in the workplace or in one's system, even if legally prescribed.

Pay
- High School Diploma/GED: $15.61/hr
- Associate degree: $17.84/hr
- Bachelor’s degree or higher: $19.12/hr
Schedule
Full-time, year-round (12 months), non-exempt, hourly position.
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 35 hours per week
