About the role

This position will provide district-wide administrative support services, managing property, vehicles, procurement, space, security, mail, and COMSEC programs while, at the GS 11 level, independently analyzing operations, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with DOJ and EOUSA requirements.

Responsibilities

  • serving as the primary Accountable Property Custodian for the district;
  • managing and controlling usage of the government vehicles;
  • coordinating facility management, repairs, and service requests;
  • managing incoming/outgoing mail and secure shipment compliance;
  • overseeing district communications and physical security compliance.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship or Nationality;
  • Pre-employment adjudication including fingerprint, credit and tax checks, and drug testing;
  • Continued employment subject to a favorable adjudication of a background investigation;
  • Registration for Selective Service, if applicable;
  • Time-in-Grade: Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Qualifications

  • GS-9: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in Federal service;
  • GS-11: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in Federal service.
