About the role
The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB) is seeking an Administrative Services Coordinator to support the agency's mission of shaping health care policy, transparency, and public engagement. This role involves coordinating day-to-day operations, supporting public Board meetings, and managing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Supports public Board meetings and regulatory processes
- Covers for Board members during meetings
- Coordinates communications, records management, and organizational workflows
- Manages travel arrangements for Board members
- Assists with budget preparation and financial reporting
- Supervises clerical and administrative staff
- Oversees procurement and contract management
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
- Four (4) years of full-time college level study OR a Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field
- OR Three (3) years of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND one (1) year or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff
- OR Two (2) years of full-time college level study OR an Associate's degree or higher in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND two (2) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff
- OR One (1) year of full-time college level study in accounting, business or public administration, office administration or a related field AND three (3) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff
- OR High school diploma or equivalent AND four (4) years or more of experience providing administrative-level support to a business or organization INCLUDING one (1) year or more in an accounting or budgeting function and experience as a supervisor of clerical or administrative staff
- OR One (1) year or more as an Administrative Services Coordinator II with the State of Vermont
