About the role

This position involves leading and supervising nursing care on assigned units, ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and regulations. The role focuses on developing high-quality, cost-effective patient care, supporting the organization’s vision, and maintaining regulatory standards. It includes managing clinical practice, budgeting, personnel activities, and supporting Electronic Medical Records. The goal is to optimize patient and family experiences through excellent customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in nursing policy development and communicate policies effectively.
• Promote positive guest relations and evidence-based practices.
• Foster collaboration with medical staff and develop employee relations.
• Mentor staff, oversee orientation, continuing education, and performance evaluations.
• Manage staffing, supplies, and address performance issues.
• Develop strategic plans across clinical, financial, and operational areas.
• Ensure fiscal accountability and uphold service standards.
• Address patient and customer issues promptly and conduct leadership rounds.
• Monitor risk management and ensure incident reporting and resolution.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BSN program with at least 2 years of experience.
• Graduate from specialty training programs or related fields preferred.
