Administrative Coordinator for the BSN and HP Programs, providing administrative and operations support to program administration, faculty, and students. Reports to the Dean, School of Nursing and Health Professions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to BSN and HP Programs.
  • Engage effectively with students, faculty, and staff members.
  • Conduct respectful relationships within the university community.
  • Work collegially and productively in a diverse academic environment.
  • Manage grant funding disbursements and financial aid processes.
  • Coordinate events, special projects, and presentations.
  • Adhere to university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Drive for university-related purposes, including recruitment and events.
  • Set up and tear down event materials, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Navigate airports and off-campus venues with recruiting materials.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or 60 college hours (up to 2 years of additional experience may substitute).
  • Four (4) years of administrative/office support experience in a complex office environment (up to 2 years of additional education may substitute).
  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record; must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid identification with "Real ID" designation for air travel.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and team collaboration.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to learn and use web conferencing tools.
  • Experience with presentation software and development.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced computer and organization skills.
  • Critical thinking and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of academic settings.
  • Experience coordinating events and special projects.

Schedule

Typical Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional extended hours, weekends, and travel to meet departmental and learning community needs.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to actively engage in events for extended periods.
  • Regular movement across campus, event venues, and recruitment sites.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs for table set-up/tear-down (reaching, bending, squatting).
  • Push/pull event carts holding up to 25 lbs.
  • Navigate airports with recruiting materials.

Pay

$41,500 annualized.
