Essential Functions Of Job
- Answers telephone and takes messages or transfers calls to the proper individuals.
- Sorts and distributes departmental mail.
- Greets and assists the general public that come into the agency.
- Typifies letters, reports, memos, and other documents required by the department staff.
- Operates and maintains computer, printer, copier, scanner, and other office equipment.
- Updates computer databases as needed.
- Troubleshoots minor office equipment problems and solves them when required.
- Utilizes case management system and inputs data as needed.
- Creates various department forms and reports.
- Scans, copies, and collates documents.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Selection Criteria
- Meet the minimum experience and training for the job.
- Meritorious service: defined as the absence of any discipline above the level of written reprimand during the 12 months preceding the closing date of the posting.
