Essential Functions Of Job

  • Answers telephone and takes messages or transfers calls to the proper individuals.
  • Sorts and distributes departmental mail.
  • Greets and assists the general public that come into the agency.
  • Typifies letters, reports, memos, and other documents required by the department staff.
  • Operates and maintains computer, printer, copier, scanner, and other office equipment.
  • Updates computer databases as needed.
  • Troubleshoots minor office equipment problems and solves them when required.
  • Utilizes case management system and inputs data as needed.
  • Creates various department forms and reports.
  • Scans, copies, and collates documents.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.

Selection Criteria

  • Meet the minimum experience and training for the job.
  • Meritorious service: defined as the absence of any discipline above the level of written reprimand during the 12 months preceding the closing date of the posting.
