Core Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of administrative tasks to ensure daily operations run efficiently.
- Provides proactive feedback to improve workflow.
- Serves as a point of contact for new hires, assisting with onboarding and workstation setup.
- May coordinate with People Excellence and other departments to provide new employees with necessary resources.
- Absorbs and manages daily responsibilities, answering phone calls and emails.
- Helps plan and execute internal and external stakeholder engagement, ensuring information is shared through appropriate channels.
- Supports departmental projects by handling administrative responsibilities, including conducting research, preparing presentations, and organizing documents.
- Provides support and backup to other administrative or support staff to maintain business continuity.
- Supports departmental budget management by gathering data, maintaining accurate financial records, and performing related data entry.
- Collaborates with the Business Service Center (BSC) by submitting requests through ServiceNow to process hiring, travel, procurement, and other BSC-related services.
- Manages calendars to organize meetings, schedules, and daily appointments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Vocational Training or Apprenticeship in a related field.
- Three (3) years of related work experience.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure per Texas EO-GA-48.
