About the role
This is a high-speed job that requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask throughout the day. Our management team will provide comprehensive on-the-job training. We have a state-of-the-art showroom and office space, offering a very nice work environment. Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks: paperwork processing, data entry, filing, organizing, emailing invoices, etc.
- Collecting deposits and final balance payments from customers.
- Contacting customers to notify them of order arrivals and arrange for jobsite delivery.
- Interacting and communicating professionally with clients.
- Working with your sales team to exceed monthly sales targets and company goals.
- Assisting the salesperson by handling customers when they are out of the office.
- Building relationships with clients by performing responsibilities well and exceeding customer expectations.
- Working with a diverse team and identifying and fulfilling individual needs.
- Completing daily and monthly tasks by deadline.
- Assisting the sales team in managing accounts and relationships.
- Proactive problem-solving with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Communicating effectively with customers regarding inquiries, orders, and shipment statuses.
- Collaborating with internal departments such as accounting, warehouse, and shipping teams.
- Helping customers with account reconciliation.
Requirements
- Experience working with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Ability to carry up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to type over 30 wpm.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability and desire to excel in an autonomous environment.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience in the construction industry is helpful but not required.
- Understanding of Monday.com would be great.
- Ability to be customer-oriented and a proactive team player who can multitask in a dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
