Administrative Assistant PRN
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Administrative Assistant to join TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Compile and distribute monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports in Medical Imaging and Cardiovascular Lab as requested.
- Maintain Low Dose CT paperwork and information, and apply to the NRDR registry.
- Maintain Low Dose CT Excel spreadsheet and send follow-up letters to providers as needed.
- File all correspondence in an orderly fashion and maintain the file/invoicing system.
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
- Greet, interact with, and assist all visitors with questions/concerns, referring matters to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Participate in educational programs.
- Monitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communications.
- Coordinate project-based work.
- Assist front desk and transports as needed.
- Support organizational initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient and employee satisfaction.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and patients.
- Reflect NorthCrest’s values and commitment to the Code of Conduct.
- Adhere to HIPAA privacy regulations in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
- Current BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- 2 to 3 years of clerical experience preferred.
