About the role

This position provides administrative and staff support to the Outpatient Clinic. Duties include but are not limited to managing schedules, coordinating appointments, maintaining records, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Coordinate meetings and events
  • Assist with data entry and report generation
  • Provide administrative support to clinic staff

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience providing clerical or administrative support, and/or customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated ability to type 45 words per minute, accurately and consistently

Skills

Must possess strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must also have the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay

The final job offer is based on several factors (internal equity, skills, education, experience, and credentials). The starting salary range is $17.24 to $22.86 per hour.

Schedule

This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.
