Administrative Assistant, Heart and Vascular Institute, Full Time, Day

About the Role

This position provides administrative, secretarial, and analytical support for the Assistant Vice President of the Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI), the Director of Cardiac Services, and the HVI team. Additionally, it includes administrative and analytical support for the Real Time Location Software (RTLS), such as education and rounding on clinical units where RTLS is utilized.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Secretarial Science, or related field, or certification from a secretarial school
• Prior administrative secretarial experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Good organizational skills
• Proficiency with web-based applications and database management
• Ability to create multi-media presentations and content
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with customers to meet their needs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and schedule

Pay

Hourly pay range: $29.34 – $36.67, depending on role, experience, education, and licensure.
