Administrative Assistant - Full Time, Days 8a-4p, Nursing Education, Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center

Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the department. Supports team members through a variety of tasks related to organization, department, and communication. Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Provide information by answering questions and requests
• Registration and preparation for classes and events
• Maintain office supply and classroom inventory
• Manage requests for the foundation Continuing Education Fund as needed
• Maintain Nursing Education website Learning Management System: SCORM and upload assessments and PowerPoints as needed
• Maintain Nursing Education email inbox
• Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and catering requests
• Take meeting minutes
• Maintain contact lists
• Maintain bulletin boards
• Prepare and monitor invoices/contracts
• Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
• Room bookings, couriers, etc.
• Payroll: Edit and approve as needed and follow up with incorrect charges
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Administration or relevant area
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally at all times
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Ability to learn tasks quickly
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a high-volume team environment

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
