Provides clerical support for the programs at Family Services.
Responsibilities
- Billing, client registration, and running insurance eligibility
- Answering phones and ordering supplies
- Ensuring positive client flow and scheduling appointments
- Greeting and managing clients as they enter the building for appointments
- Performs routine clerical duties to support all programs in daily operations
- Orders supplies and forms as needed in a timely manner
- Manages phones, greets clients, and notifies staff of appointments efficiently
- Completes eligibilities and billing entries; assists staff with program-specific needs including data collection and outcome measurements
- Channels information to appropriate staff, physicians, and departments accurately and timely
- Asserts adherence to rules in a non-threatening and positive manner
- Secures and locks facility at closing
Requirements
- Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate degree in a secretarial program
- Certification/Licensure:
- Act 33/73 Clearances
- Family & Friends CPR
- Comprehensive Crisis Management per policy
- Experience:
- Minimum: One year secretarial experience
- Preferred: One year secretarial experience in a Behavioral Health setting
