PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Supporting the daily operations of the Betty Howard Center for Student Success.
  • Responding to/sending emails.
  • Answering the phone.
  • Professionally greeting all guests who enter the department.
  • Responding to inquiries regarding department services, resources, and processes (to the best of your knowledge).
  • Aiding department staff with printing, copying, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
  • Running errands for the department (i.e., dropping off forms at the required office).
  • Collecting mail and sorting it into our department mailbox.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of common spaces in the department.
  • Completing any tasks assigned to you within a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work professionally and courteously with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
