This position supports the Program Coordinator by performing secretarial, accounts payable, and office-management tasks. Access to confidential information requires high ethical and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain student data in Synergy Student Information System (SIS) and other databases (SpEd Forms).
  • Create and send student tuition billing documents to resident districts.
  • Print and mail due-process documents, report cards, progress reports, and other student or program materials.
  • Answer and make phone calls.
  • Monitor and maintain office-supply inventory.
  • Create and maintain student, staff, and program files (paper and electronic).
  • Type documents and correspondence.
  • Photocopy, scan, and mail program documents.
  • Create and send emails for program staff.
  • Respond to records requests.
  • Review and reconcile purchase orders and pay invoices.
  • Act as program PCard administrator; reconcile and code PCard statements for the Program Coordinator and gather receipts for approval.
  • Create and post job postings, set up interviews, prepare interview questions, and retain interview documents.
  • Create RRSEC New Hire Workflow for all program new hires.
  • Provide health-office services to students and administer student medications.
  • Monitor food-service safety and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient school operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED (required).
  • Two-year post-high school degree in the Administrative field (preferred).
  • Three or more years in a related position (preferred).
  • Proficiency in dealing with the public, including parents and professionals from member districts.
  • Strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and comfort with office equipment and software.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of business English, spelling, and arithmetic.
  • Ability to type at a reasonable speed and make arithmetical calculations.
  • Ability to meet the public effectively and follow oral/written instructions.
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including data and word-processing tools.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, students, and the public.

  • Ability to type and create documents.

Pay

$26.02 – $27.81 per hour.

Schedule

School-year position plus Extended School Year (ESY) days.
