About the role

DonorConnect is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the organization, prioritizing front office duties such as call handling, mail, data entry, office supplies, and miscellaneous projects. This role supports the Administration team and various departments with clerical and project-based tasks. Onsite presence is required in Murray, UT.

DonorConnect is a federally designated nonprofit community service organization dedicated to the recovery of organs and tissues for life-saving transplants. Employees are expected to embody the organization’s I CARE+ values: integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect, and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for reception and front office administrative duties, including managing the main business telephone line, coordinating visitor access, handling mail and deliveries, and assisting with office equipment and supplies.
  • Monitor and maintain stock of office supplies, placing orders as needed.
  • Maintain records, supplies, and common areas with accuracy, ensuring cleanliness of shared spaces such as breakrooms and meeting rooms.
  • Perform clerical duties and administrative support, including generating documents, flyers, mailings, and presentations.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, providing support with notes and action items.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, positivity, and respect in all interactions, aligning with DonorConnect’s I CARE+ values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of one to two years of customer service or administrative support experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including basic graphic design and Microsoft business applications.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use business office and phone equipment (printer/copy machine/scanner, phone, postage machine).
  • Understanding of basic accounting and clerical functions.
  • Well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexible, with a willingness to assist others.
  • Able to work well under stress and maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize work and reason logically, considering diverse perspectives.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to move up to 10 pounds at times, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.

Schedule

This is a 36-hour per week, full-time position.
