About the role
The Administrative Assistant I supports the local office with a range of administrative tasks, including phone support, document creation and maintenance, and coordination of meetings.
Responsibilities
- Aid project managers with administrative tasks as directed.
- Handle incoming calls professionally, directing calls and managing messages.
- Coordinate meetings and communications as needed.
- Create and update accurate files (both paper and digital).
- Prepare clear and accurate meeting minutes for project meetings.
- Communicate effectively via phone and email with various stakeholders.
- Maintain office equipment, supplies, and janitorial services.
- Act as a liaison between the field office, headquarters, and other satellite offices.
- Adhere to RockSol's quality standards and QMS requirements.
- Perform other general administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of administrative work experience.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documents.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude, willing to assist with a variety of tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Flexibility to perform a variety of tasks and multitask under time pressure.
- Ability to learn and use various software programs (preferred).

Pay
$25 - $35 per hour (depending on experience).
Schedule
Field or satellite office environment, frequent use of phones, sitting and typing at a computer workstation for extended periods. Moderate noise level. Occasionally move/lift up to 25 pounds.
