Administrative Aide
Grant funded position. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not available. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location and must be located in or willing to relocate to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts prior to hire. Telecommuting may be permitted on a limited or as-needed basis only.
About the role
The Administrative Aide will work within the Office of the Director, Bureau of Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology to perform and assist with a wide range of administrative activities for several large grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts with federal and state sponsors. The incumbent will support daily operations, including correspondence with study subjects, procurement, grant administration, and travel activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, OR
- Associate’s degree in a related field and one year of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience, OR
- Three years of general office, secretarial, or administrative experience.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with procurement.
- Knowledge and experience with grants administration.
- Experience performing administrative duties in an office setting.
- Demonstrated organizational skills pertaining to file and email management.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, WebEx, and Teams.

Pay
Minimum: $52,979.00 - Maximum: $52,979.00 annually. Positions with a designated work location in New York City, Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties will receive a $4,000 annual downstate adjustment (prorated for part-time positions).
