About the Role

The Admin Team Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and performance of the Admin Team, serving as the primary escalation point for clients and brokers. You'll clearly communicate operational processes across the department, recommend policies and procedures that support departmental goals and performance expectations, and apply sound judgment in interpreting and applying established policies related to Navia's Admin Team service level agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and deliver performance evaluations and reviews for team members
  • Coordinate hiring and onboarding for new team members, along with ongoing check-ins
  • Lead departmental meetings
  • Serve as the first point of contact for implementation-related questions and projects
  • Partner with the Integration Manager on departmental forecasting and budgeting
  • Manage daily operations, including staffing, work distribution, timesheets, PTO and vacation approvals, and customer escalations, in coordination with team leads
  • Own employee training, development, and mentorship, and administer disciplinary action when necessary
  • Lead and manage all team initiatives
  • Ensure team project deliverables are completed on time
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and divisional groups to support company-wide goals and objectives
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in file processing or comparable technical experience
  • Comfortable providing constructive feedback and administering disciplinary action when needed
  • Ability to adapt your communication style to fit the needs of the team
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and guidance, both internally and externally

Work Environment

Candidates within 30 miles of one of our four office locations may be asked to come into the office for a hybrid schedule depending on the role. Eligible candidates will reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SD, TN, TX, UT, AND WA.
