Admin I Inventory Support (Auditor)

ADUSA Distribution is the distribution company of Ahold Delhaize USA, providing distribution services to one of the largest grocery retail supply chains in the nation. Our facilities handle a mix of product types, including fresh, frozen, grocery, and health and beauty care items. Our team supports the supply chain network evolution to an integrated self-distribution model, serving leading omnichannel grocery brands like Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford, and Stop & Shop.

Primary Purpose

As an Inventory Support Associate, you will perform a wide variety of duties to maintain and control accurate levels of inventory in grocery and perishable warehouses. This includes evaluating and researching discrepancies, entering data into warehouse systems, auditing outbound cases, providing technical support to receiving and shipping departments, and exchanging information with retail, merchandising, trucking, and distribution customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of all departments within the distribution center
• Perform quality control and auditing responsibilities
• Conduct perpetual cycle counts and supplemental count requirements within established time frames
• Monitor warehouse damage and initiate resolution
• Notify appropriate department leads for product discrepancies
• Utilize reports to investigate and expedite issues related to inventory discrepancies and audit results
• Maintain accurate, organized files for all department responsibilities
• Perform daily warehouse responsibilities in shipping, receiving, and/or inventory management
• Recommend modifications to procedures or processes to maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with company standards for accuracy, safety, and productivity

Requirements

• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to and including 60 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (e.g., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)

Preferred Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable
• Familiarity or experience in a distribution environment
