What You Will Be Doing
- Provide timely processing of various types of correspondence, including emails, packages, and mail.
- Aid with administrative tasks such as document preparation, data entry, and basic accounting tasks.
- Support meetings and trainings by coordinating arrangements and offering assistance.
- Handle sensitive information and documents with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Act as a Garney brand ambassador, providing excellent customer service to visitors and internal employees.
- Offer hospitality services (tours, water, coffee) for guests and provide accurate information about the office and construction projects.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately. In some cases, manage office vendor relationships and contracts, such as janitorial.
- Manage regional license renewals.
- Identify and address operational challenges, taking initiative to find solutions and improve office processes to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized office environment by managing supply inventory, performing light housekeeping, ensuring equipment functionality, communicating key information to staff, and providing hospitality and accurate information to guests.
What We Are Looking For
- Team-first attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience (3-5 years minimum) as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a related role.
- Notary Public or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
