Full-time position serving as the primary executive and operational support for the Principal at North Attleboro High School.
Responsibilities
- Executive Support & Office Management
- Calendar & Meeting Management: Maintain and coordinate the Principal's daily schedule, prioritizing appointments, parent conferences, staff evaluations, and district leadership meetings.
- Communication Liaison: Filter and route incoming communications; draft and edit professional correspondence, meeting agendas, memos, and administrative reports.
- Visitor & Campus Security: Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for the main office and enforce security protocols.
- Confidentiality: Maintain student disciplinary records, staff evaluations, and administrative files in accordance with FERPA and district privacy policies.
- Graduation & Senior Events: Organize and manage operations for graduation and senior events.
- Scholarships: Manage the scholarship application and award process, coordinating with outside scholarship committees.
- Software, Data & Operational Support
- Student Information System (Aspen SIS): Input, update, and audit student data, administrative notes, disciplinary entries, and master schedule adjustments. Generate reports as requested by the Principal.
- Digital Communication & Public Relations (Thrillshare): Draft, schedule, and distribute school-wide communications, announcements, newsletters, and social media updates via Thrillshare.
- Financial & Budgetary Management (Budget Sense): Manage building-level purchase orders, process invoices, track department budget codes, and reconcile monthly expense reports. Work with the town treasurer and school business office to manage Student Activity Accounts.
- Google Workspace Productivity: Utilize Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Drive to create shared workflows, track department tasks, compile survey feedback, and coordinate main office operations.
- Substitutes & Staffing: Coordinate daily substitute teacher assignments, coverage logs, and time-reporting verification in coordination with district resources.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in a K-12 public or private school setting.
Skills
- Technical Software Proficiency:
- Student Data: Hands-on experience with Aspen SIS (or comparable Student Information System).
- Communication Platforms: Experience managing school communications using Thrillshare (Apptegy) or similar tools.
- Financial Management: Proficiency with Budget Sense (or similar educational accounting/ERP software).
- Office Tools: Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Drive, Gmail).
- Compliance & Legal: Deep understanding of FERPA and student record privacy standards.

Working Conditions
Primary environment is a high-volume, fast-paced high school main office. Involves frequent disruptions from students, staff, phone calls, and visitors. Occasional movement off/across campus facilities, prolonged computer use, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
