Responsibilities

  • Follow all corporate safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
  • Perform routine installations and/or maintenance on assigned products.
  • Perform log analysis of system errors during Qualification and test.
  • Assist in on-the-job training to the internal technician in routine operation, installation, and troubleshooting of assigned products.
  • Effectively troubleshoot issues for both hardware and software.
  • Professionally interact with and understand technical information from the internal team and multi-national and multi-language teams.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork and Status Reporting with supervision.
  • Input data to the QA / QC check sheet, create a report, and submit it to the Installation Site Manager.
  • Attend daily field meetings.
  • Work with minimum supervision, as needed, and recommend technical solutions/resolutions to engineering groups.
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements.
  • Make continuing visual and audible observations of the machines to detect any abnormalities.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all work done on the equipment and machines.
  • Ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees', wearing PPE is a requirement and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, a face mask, and a hard hat.

Requirements

  • Basic proficiency with mechanical hand tools.
  • Basic understanding of AC/DC voltage components and the use of a digital multimeter.
  • Ability to read a tape measure (standard and metric).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a compressed workweek, as well as afternoon or night shifts.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and work with varying conditions where limited standardization exists.
  • Comfortable working at heights and operating a scissor lift.
  • Proficiency with PC applications (MS Office, Excel, Windows).
