Adjuster (production mechanic)

About the role

Enveloppe Concept Inc. is a growing company that has gained renown in Canada’s envelope manufacturing sector. We are looking for a production mechanic (fitter) to oversee our high-speed envelope manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate must be versatile, responsible, manually dexterous, detail-oriented, and an accommodating self-starter. You must demonstrate initiative, be able to work under pressure, and possess basic knowledge of mechanical processes and machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Adjust the machinery based on the specifications in customers’ orders.
• Ensure that the equipment is producing high-quality envelopes at the required speed.
• Supply the machinery with raw materials during the product manufacturing process.
• Monitor the quality of the final product.
• Fill out the required production monitoring and quality control forms.
• Work as a team with the machine operator in charge.
• Ensure that the equipment is properly maintained (daily/preventive maintenance).
• Perform general plant maintenance.
• Suggest corrective action and preventive measures.
• Perform other related tasks.

Requirements

• Quebec DEP in industrial mechanics.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of printing would be an asset.
• Knowledge of envelope manufacturing would be an asset.
