Adjunctive Therapist PRN
Job Summary
The Adjunctive Therapist provides the core of programming by facilitating therapeutic individual and group sessions offered to the patients. The responsibilities include individual/group sessions daily focusing on coping skills, socialization, and activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy, Music Therapy, or Master’s Degree in Art Therapy are required.
- Certification as specified below:
- Music Therapist: Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC)—passed the national board certification exam
- Art Therapist: Registered Art Therapist (ART) Art Therapist Registered-Board Certified (ART-BC)
- Licensed Professional Art Therapist
- Recreational Therapist certification within 90 days of hire.
- BLS required upon hire.
- CPI within 90 days of hire.

Research Psychiatric Center is a 95+ bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare. We treat adolescents, adults, and senior adults for emotional disorders, mental illness, and substance abuse. Our professional staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and licensed professional counselors.
