Adjunct Instructor of Voice within the Music Department, reporting to the Chair of Music Department.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in voice
- Strong teaching experience in classical and musical theatre
- Music performance skills and pedagogy
Responsibilities
- Teach applied/individual voice classes to freshmen and sophomore students
- Prepare students for student recitals and final jury examinations at the end of each semester
- Provide a quality learning experience for all students in accordance with their needs and abilities while maintaining the basic integrity of the course’s standards and objectives
- State clear objectives and criteria in the course syllabus
- Maintain an accurate grade book and attendance record
