Adjunct Recreation Activity Instructor

About the role

Weber State University is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor of lower division recreation activity courses. The instructor is responsible for leading safe, effective, and enjoyable classes for the HPHP department in various disciplines and activities.

Responsibilities

The instructor will lead classes in activities such as hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, snow/ice climbing, mountaineering, skiing, snowboarding, whitewater rafting, whitewater kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and fishing.

Requirements

• Minimum current CPR and First Aid certification
• Other requirements may be determined at the time of application or interview based on specific course needs

Qualifications

A background check is required as a condition of employment. Preferred qualifications include a background that aligns with the needs of the specific course.
