About the Role

Contracted on a per-semester basis, the position will provide direct instruction to students by teaching classes, developing course outlines, assessing student progress, and utilizing the University's assigned technology to maintain appropriate records. Avila University is seeking adjunct instructors for sociology courses that will be held on-campus.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Radiographic Procedures I Lab course to first year Radiologic Science students
  • Teach simulation labs for upper extremity, shoulder girdle and lower extremity
  • Create an environment in the classroom which facilitates student learning
  • Serve as a professional role model for Radiologic Science students
  • Motivate students to think, to question, and to critically analyze

Qualifications

Adjunct faculty will be academically and experientially qualified and maintain expertise in areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • ARRT (R) Credentialed
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • Multilingual skills highly preferred
