Adjunct Psychology Instructors - Undergrad and Grad Counseling
Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated adjunct instructors to teach in our undergraduate psychology and master’s counseling psychology programs. This is an opportunity for experienced professionals to share their expertise, enrich the educational experience of a diverse student body, and/or play a vital role in shaping the next generation of licensed mental health professionals. Available positions include both daytime in-person and online undergraduate courses, as well as evening in-person graduate courses.
Responsibilities
- Lecture courses for undergraduate psychology and/or graduate-level counseling psychology program.
- Provide instruction, activities, assignments, assessments, and feedback to adequately cover all objectives for the specific course(s) taught.
- Deliver content using effectual methods which are appropriate to students with differing abilities, levels of preparation, and cultural experience.
- Perform other duties as needed related to assigned courses.
Qualifications
- For Counseling Psychology Master's Program Courses: doctoral degree OR master's degree + 18 additional credit hours of graduate coursework in psychology or clinical licensure (e.g., licensed professional counselor, master's level psychologist, etc.) is required.
- For Undergraduate Courses: a minimum of master's in psychology required; doctorate preferred.
- Teaching experience highly preferred.
