Job Responsibilities
Teaches courses from our course offerings, which include General Psychology (PSY 201), Human Growth and Development (PSY 203), Social Psychology (PSY 225), Human Sexuality (PSY 208), Personality Psychology (PSY 220), Behavior Modification (PSY 218) and Abnormal Psychology (PSY 212).
- Courses may be delivered in-person on campus or at off-campus sites, synchronously virtual (through ZOOM) or asynchronously online (through D2L Bright Space).
Minimum And Additional Requirements
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Psychology.
- High school teachers at participating high schools who desire to teach MTC courses must be vetted by the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at MTC.
- College and/or high school teaching experience and two years work experience.
- Ability to teach during daytime or evening hours on Beltline or Airport Campus.
- Experience teaching synchronous classes via Zoom.
- Experience using the D2L Brightspace LMS.
