Specific Responsibilities
- Teaches in assigned courses
- Aids in monitoring the progress of all students
- Recommends disciplinary action when necessary
- Assists in student testing, re-testing, and remediation
- Develops clinical scenarios for standardized patient education assessment/evaluation and simulation education/assessment
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification(s)
- Health professional with DO, MD, Paramedic, APN, or PAClinical experience providing direct patient care in their specialty
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- The desire and ability to learn course management software/distance learning technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in precepting Osteopathic medical students in a clinical setting
- Experience as an instructor in a clinical skills course or CME course
- Experience with Point of Care Ultrasound and simulation
