About the role
Viterbo University seeks to hire qualified applicants for possible temporary part-time teaching assignments. Positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are ongoing recruitments. Courses may include in-person, online, or blended formats.
Responsibilities
- Lecture sections of courses such as: Intro to American Government, Intro U.S. History Surveys.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the minimum educational requirements listed below to be considered for the pool of qualified candidates. All decisions are made at the discretion of the department.
- Master's or higher in the discipline or subfield in which you teach.
- If holding a master's degree in a related field and lacking 18 credits directly in the subfield you will be teaching in, or a master's in an unrelated field, recent professional experience and expertise (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years) may meet academic qualifications.
Qualifications
Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted to teach at Viterbo. A cover letter indicating area of discipline and a current vita must be uploaded. Official transcripts will be required if recommended for a position.
