ADJUNCT - MUSIC POOL

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community.

Job Description

The Associate of Arts in Music prepares students to complete a Bachelor of Music degree in music, music theory and composition as well as music education. The curriculum at Del Mar College seeks to challenge, empower and inspire students while meeting their diverse needs as they strive to become performers, composers, educators as well as integral members and leaders of the music industry and community.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful college teaching experience
• Experience utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources and other appropriate media in instruction.
