Adjunct - Music Industry / Technology - Logic Pro X & Ableton, Department of Music

About the role

The Music Department seeks a qualified adjunct to teach Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, advanced music production, mixing, synthesis, sampling, remixing and mastering.

Responsibilities

• Teach Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and all aspects of music production in the DAW.
• Show expertise in music production techniques including but not limited to mixing, synthesis, sampling, remixing and mastering.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the music industry.
• A Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and all aspects of music production in the DAW.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or equivalent experience.

Skills

• Expertise in music production techniques including mixing, synthesis, sampling, remixing and mastering.

Benefits

• Rowan University provides a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught.
• The maximum teaching load is 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.

Pay

• Minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught.

Schedule

• The course schedule is determined by the College & Department on an as-needed basis.
