About the role
Fairfield University's College of Arts and Sciences is seeking an adjunct or visiting instructor to teach a semester-long course in the MA degree Interior Design program. The position is exclusively online and requires teaching core board courses and lighting classes.
Responsibilities
- Teach core board courses and lighting classes for graduate students in the MA Interior Design program.
- Teach both daytime and evening sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and as needed by the department and university.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
- NCIDQ certification.
- Experience teaching interior design at the graduate level.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in interior design software.
- Ability to manage multiple courses and schedules.
