About the role
The College of Arts and Sciences Advising Office's mission is to teach, assist, and empower students to define, clarify, and achieve academic and personal goals through professional, caring service. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The anticipated need is for UCRS 4800 - CLASS Internship. UCRS 4800 Internship course is taught by the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and is designed to be interdisciplinary and applicable to any degree program.
Responsibilities
- Teach UCRS 4800 - CLASS Internship course
- Assist students in defining, clarifying, and achieving academic and personal goals
- Work with students to develop and implement academic plans
- Provide guidance on career development and supervision
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Higher Education, or a related field
- 5 years working directly with college students
- 2 years teaching experience
- Areas of expertise should include the marketability of a major, career development theory, and supervision

Pay
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with the candidates qualifications, experience, and discipline, in accordance with university guidelines and available funding.
