Adjunct Instructor - Psychology (In-Person)
Position Title
Job Summary
The Arts/Communications/Social Sciences Division is accepting applications for a part-time, in-person Psychology instructor. Adjunct applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Submission of an application places candidates in an applicant pool for consideration as instructional needs arise. Positions are offered based on course availability, enrollment, and departmental needs. Applicants will be contacted only if an instructional assignment becomes available and their qualifications align with the course requirements.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment for a diverse student body.
- Flexibility for teaching courses offered on-campus days and evenings
- Instructional expertise to deliver instruction for 21st century learners and assess student learning outcomes as appropriate to ensure academic quality.
- Proficient in a range of teaching and learning strategies to foster active learning and student success, which contributes to the fulfillment of the College’s strategic goals.
- Willingness to participate in activities or on college committees that contribute to the success of students.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, or a Master’s in a closely related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology.
- Experience teaching in-person.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dual-credit/early college instruction.
