Adjunct Instructor - Physics (Pooled Posting)

Qualifications - Education

• Master’s Degree from a regionally-accredited institution in Physics or a closely related field is required.
• Background in astronomy or experience teaching courses in astronomy highly desirable.

Qualifications - Experience

• Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
• Evidence of scholarly and/or professional activities preferred.
• Additional job experience may be substituted for a Masters Degree in selected discipline.

Qualifications - Skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of Physics including current developments and technologies in the field of Physics, or a closely related field is a requirement.
• Ability to teach and mentor students in a laboratory setting is a must.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
