Posting Details
The Division of Teacher Residency & Education invites applications for Adjunct Instructors with expertise in the following areas: Elementary Education, Physical Education, Secondary Education, and Special Education for its pool of part-time adjunct instructors. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the Division Chair when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and/or summer. Successful applicants will be expected to teach primarily on-campus undergraduate courses in teacher education at the Vermillion campus. Occasionally, courses may be offered on the USD Sioux Falls campus or online. Applicants are encouraged to indicate the locations (Vermillion, Sioux Falls, online) where they are interested in teaching on their letter of application.
Minimum Qualifications: M.S. or M.A. in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Special Education, or a closely related field.
