About the role
The Adjunct Instructor of Anatomy and Physiology will support the introduction of unifying concepts of anatomy and physiology, focusing on the mechanisms underlying normal functions of cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems. This role serves multiple disciplines including athletic training, biology, exercise science, nursing, physical and health education, pre-physical therapy, public health, and sports administration.
Responsibilities
- Teach ANP130L | Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology I Laboratory
- Support the curriculum design for introductory and advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Collaborate with other health sciences departments to enhance interdisciplinary education and practice
- Participate in interprofessional education and practice initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline
- Additional graduate work required
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching anatomy and physiology
- Ability to support the mission of the College of Health Sciences
Skills
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and student needs
